Our Fareham base is situated at the top of Portsmouth harbour and is a hive of boating activity. The sheltered environment makes it ideal for beginners and families to soak up some sun and enjoy exploring safely.

Fareham Marina is also home to Tides coffee shop, a hidden treasure popular with locals (and our staff!) The café offers stunning views of the estuary, which can be enjoyed alongside locally roasted coffee and home baked goods, as well as a breakfast and lunch menu. It’s the perfect spot to kick back in after joining us for a fun day on the water.
We welcome group bookings
Stoked is perfect for family gatherings, stag and hen parties, schools and youth groups as well as corporate team building. We have plenty of kit and can accommodate groups up to 40 people comfortably. Get in touch to speak about adding water to your next event.

1 hour (single kayak)
1 hour (standard size – 1 adult)

Family friendly watersports hires at Fareham Marina
At Stoked Watersports you can hire kayaks or paddleboards and enjoy paddling the sheltered waters of upper Portsmouth Harbour. We run regular kayak and paddleboard hire hourly sessions throughout the day perfect for beginners and for more experienced paddlers we have our SUP pick up and go service giving you the freedom to explore Portsmouth Harbour at your own pace. Each season we help lots of families and friends to get on the water safely, hone their kayaking and paddleboard skills and grow their confidence whilst having a lot of fun.
Kayak and paddleboard hire sessions
We offer a range of watersports and boat hire experiences including sit on top kayaks (singles and doubles) and paddleboards. Whether you are a complete beginner or a regular paddler, our Fareham Marina team are on hand to support you. Paddleboards can be used by one person or shared with a small child making a fun family session on the water more affordable.
Self-led Pick up & Go adventures
For more experienced paddlers we offer our Pick up & Go service giving you the opportunity to tour and explore Portsmouth Harbour. Choose from a touring sit on top kayak or a touring style paddleboard and explore Fareham Creek and Portsmouth Harbour at your own pace. Half day and full day Pick up & Go hires are available. These are ideal for individuals, couples or group adventures.
Get you kids on the water safely
Our team at our Fareham Marina paddle centre are here to support you to make sure you and your family have a positive experience. We have lifejackets and buoyancy aids available for all ages. Our kayaks and paddleboards can be shared between an adult and child, or more confident children can hire their own kayak or paddleboard. We hired a kayak for my 13 year old daughter who paddled with me while I swam, she absolutely loved it... Despite it being a little bouncy!! The next day she wanted to try a paddle board and again was buzzing after and loved it! The team were great, so helpful, very safe and enthusiastic and am so grateful for being able to give my daughter such a great experience on the water! Thanks guys.
What a fabulous experience we have just had !! It was very windy and wet, the instructors were so brilliant, encouraging and helpful, the two children who went on the kayaks had a really long fun time and two other people in our party even had a free ride on the rib!! The children haven’t stopped talking about it,and after hot showers and hot chocolates are ready to go again!!

Fareham arrival and parking information
Our Fareham marina base is just a short drive up the A32 and is also home to our HQ. Parking is available in the gravel car park adjacent to the slipway on a pay and display basis. If there are any queries about parking when you arrive, don’t hesitate to give us a call. Once parked, come and find us in the main building pictured.
